BOOSTER STEAM & HOT WATER COILS 
Booster Coils are used for zone heating or individual room heating where small hot water or steam coils are required.
STANDARD CONSTRUCTION
  • TUBES: Copper, 5/8" O.D. x .028" Wall
  • FINS: Aluminum, Flat Plate-Type, .010" Thick, 7 Fins Per Inch.
  • HEADERS: Copper.
  • CONNECTIONS: 3/4" or 1" MPT Copper
  • CASINGS: Galvanized Steel, (18 Gauge Minimum), with 1 1/4" Flanges all around

ABOUT USING SERPENTINE-TYPE COILS FOR LOW-PRESSURE MODULATED STEAM
Serpentine Coils can be used for Low-Pressure Modulated Steam provided noise is not a factor. If noise is objectionable, use Standard Blast Coils with Opposite-End Connections. Vacuum Breakers should be used with Booster Steam Coils and All Other Types of Steam Coils. See Anderson-Snow Vacuum Breaker Sheet for Use and Installation of Vacuum Breakers.
