For years, Chemical Processors have been plagued with the premature failure of coils used in their dryers/ovens, due to the extreme and abusive conditions under which it operates. A number of attempts have been made to supply coils that will be reasonably efficient and yet not plug or leak - but all to no avail. Conventional coils, with their paper thin fins, do not stand up to a high pressure hose while being washed down in an attempt to clean them, and the fins collapse, leaving the coil ruined. Brazed joints leak because the filler rod has been eaten away due in part to either corrosive air quality, inadequate condensate drainage, poor steam quality or the chemicals used to clean the coil.
